I should have appreciated all the things you did for me,

I’m sorry I took you for granted.

I didn’t know how much you truly meant to me until I lost you,

losing you was not what I wanted.

I was too focused on myself,

I didn’t know I was hurting you in the process.

I’m sorry for what I said, and how I said it,

I guess right now I’m just a mess.

I hope one day you can forgive me,

your love for me was pure.

Maybe deep down I felt I didn’t deserve your love for me,

I’ve always been unsure about everything in my life.

Not a lot of people get the chance to be loved by you,
