Reflection

When I look in the mirror, I see parts of me,

who I used to be, who I am now, and who I could be.

I look at my own reflection and I see a lost soul,

for this world has put me through so much chaos.

I question the decisions I have made in the past,

for this has led me to where I am today.

I often think about the future,

for I wonder what is on the horizon.

I am still trying to find where I belong,

I feel I am lost without a direction.

The need to understand myself,

Is the first step to knowing who I should be.

The reflection of my own self image,

to me - it is just another message.
