Familiarity

Do you know what it is like to be taken for granted?

And, the feeling of betrayal?

Trust in people is often doubted,

Because not a lot of people are loyal.

I am familiar with the feeling of abandonment,

To have people you care about just leave.

That is why I have issues with attachment,

Because people are often hard to believe. 

We live in a world where people don't like liars,

But some people are not willing to tell the truth. 

People come and people go,

Sometimes people are not who we think we know.
