If you only meet me half way?

When all you do is make up excuses?

I thought we were going steady,

But, I feel that you are not ready.

You are not ready to be with me,

That is why I am letting you go,

Because I am done.

I am done trying to be the best partner,

I cared about you more than any other.

Being the one who often invest the most time and effort.

Waiting for you to love me back,

But, love is something that you lack.

I hope there comes a day that you realize no one loved you as much as I did,

No one cared for you the way that I have.
